Background Information: Wiki!

Personality:
At first glance, Black Raisin Cookie seems like a tough cookie with no soft center for anyone. She chooses to be alone, isn't much for conversation, and speaks down about those who have privileged lives. While she is a product of her environment - a harsh terrain, surrounded by monsters, supplies difficult to come by - BRC is actually a very kind and caring person who just wants to keep her village safe. While she does feel a sense of obligation since it's her home, she carries out her patrols more out of love. She cares very deeply for every single villager, treating them all like family and she would do anything in her power to protect them.

However, this means she comes across very harsh to outsiders. She finds it difficult to trust those outside of her village, and she's rarely wandered outside of it, seeing no reason to leave until it's proven outside sources will eventually come to harm it (In story, she doesn't join team Gingerbrave until it's shown that Dark Enchantress Cookie means to take over all of Earthbread, thus her village as well). Initially, she comes across as bitter, distrusting, and even harsh to those she first meets. Her values in what determines a person's trustworthiness can also create misunderstandings and instead further sow seeds of discord. The best example of that is her initial "test" of Gingerbrave and his friends - telling them to eat a Raisin Bun. In story, it's treated as a meager food and not very tasty, causing Chili Pepper Cookie to react in disgust. This is shown as a grave insult to BRC - since food is so hard to come by for her village, she views anyone snubbing any kind of food as an outrage. To her, you should always be grateful for what you have, and to look down on others for what they don't is worthy of a fight.

But this doesn't mean she's all doom and gloom. Once someone has earned their way into her trust, often done by showing how willing they are to help another, they may have found a friend for life. BRC is incredibly loyal to her friends, willing to cross any kind of dangerous path in order to give them help. She's also shown to have great compassion and forgiveness for those who have done wrong, once she gets to know them better. The best example is her relationship with Strawberry Crepe Cookie - SCC was attacking the village with her Wafflebots and didn't show any remorse when Gingerbrave and the others confronted her. However, BRC learned that SCC didn't have any friends of her own, and aside from one very bad influence, was left to her own devices without anyone to guide her.

Once SCC was defeated, BRC offered to let SCC stay in the village, forgiving her for all she'd done and understanding she needed a helping hand in learning right from wrong. She even comforted SCC when she was having nightmares of being alone, offering one of her Raisin Crows to cuddle for a better night's sleep. The Crows themselves are another good way of showing her heart - she cares for each one, putting her faith in them in battle, and when she tells them to take care of another, she has complete confidence that person is in good hands... well, feathers. In good conscience, she just can't leave someone if she knows they need her help - while she initially left Pure Vanilla Cookie and the Gingerbrave group as she thought PVC was choosing strangers over the village, eventually she came back determined to help them all.

While her smiles are very rare, there is one thing that gives her utter joy - and that's doing chores. She's even been banned from doing dishes and sweeping floors because she gets far too excited to help and often breaks things in said excitement. She's aware this isn't exactly normal and tries to hide this fact about herself, finding it more embarrassing than anything else. But she can't help it - at her very core, she genuinely enjoys helping others. Her love for chores gives her the ability to do it without having to fight or hurt anyone.

So why choose to patrol and hide in the shadows, if she prefers washing dishes over combat? Because ultimately she knows that's where her strength lies, and she would rather herself get hurt than anyone from her village. That is the negative side of her selfless love - she will do everything she can to help others, but not help herself in any way. Anything that is given to her, she will freely give to those she thinks needs it more. Even when asked about her missing arm, she merely waves it aside, as if it's not a big deal. To her, any pain is worth it if it means her loved ones will be all right. This is another reason why she can be accidentally seen as cold - she chooses to spend time alone patrolling with her crows, and often has to be pulled into healthy, even fun events besides that. That's why on the outside, she may appear to be stale and tasteless, but once you get to know her, BRC is as warm-hearted as the day she came out of the oven.

Abilities & Inventory:
- A small combat knife, able to help her cut down her enemies.
- Being an Ambush type, her method of fighting is moving very quickly, trying to cut someone down (or at least their weak points) while being seen as little as possible. She hides in darkness and shadows when she can, striking silently save for giving her crows commands.
- Five Raisin Crows : they help attack with their sharp beaks, can unlock tiny locks, and when all five carry hold onto her, they can carry BRC to far places.
- Being a Cookie (from a game called, well, Cookie Run) allows her to run very fast, along with stamina to run longer, than your average human. However, certain conditions that could affect her dough (rain, steam, fog, etc) will cause her to slow down and lose stamina greatly.
- Possible Dreamotion ideas would have her manipulate/use shadows in combat and travel, allowing her to hide better and/or attack larger targets.

Suitability & Plans:
Admittedly this is going to be new for me, as I’m used to playing characters who are more energetic and eager to make friends, and BRC is neither. BRC isn’t used to relying on anyone – but now that she’s one of the smallest living things in this world, she will have no choice! Which will also be a good step towards her character development, in learning she doesn’t have to do things by herself all the time and people want to help her as much as she wants to help others. In addition, I’d like to explore BRC finally allowing herself to relax and think about herself for a change. She’s spent her entire life taking care of others but often refuses to take care of herself – so what happens when she doesn’t have a village to protect 24/7?

Also, she will have to FORCE herself to get to know and trust others here… especially since (thanks to Alastor in the TDM) she learned that everyone here EATS cookies in their world. How do you live among giants who potentially see you as a snack? If everyone here is a potential enemy, then the best way to get an upper hand is to know as much as you can about them.

Test Drive Sample: Sample , and two more here!
